The Athenaeum is devoted to the practice, innovation, and discussion of software design; including interaction design, information architecture, computer science, programming and even media technology and culture. It's a peer-written Gather Group, promoting contributors who want to provoke thinking, push limits, and teach a few things along the way.
If you're interested in improving the way Software Design, or Interaction Design is done, if you find yourself sparking provocative conversations about such design topics in your spare time, and if you go out of your way to help everyone on Gather think differently about everything from the design process to software, we want you to join and contribute.
This Group is open and topics are completely up to the contributors. Topics which delve into something interesting which uses Gather as a context will be more likely to be featured. Examples might include:
